Sakrutai "Sak" Binkmalee of Algonquin

Funeral services for Sakrutai "Sak" Binkmalee, 35, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.

A Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.

Born Oct. 10, 1968, in Bangkok, Thailand, he died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Sak was an executive security specialist for Boeing Corporation. He served with the Army during Desert Storm. He is survived by his wife, Shawna (nee Reinholtz); his sister, Sharon [nee West] (Chris) Courtney of Palos Heights; his parents-in-law, Fran Reinholtz-Navarre and Kit Navarre of Algonquin; his nieces and nephew, Jillian, Emma and Christopher; and by his siblings-in-law, Stacey Reinholtz, Nicole (Carlos) Lozano, Eric (Gabriela) Reinholtz, Dana Reinholtz and Kerri-Anne Reinholtz.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Friends may visit www.dailyherald.com/obits to express condolences and sign the guest book. For funeral information, (847) 253-0168.

Dear Shawna and Family,

I am so sorry about the loss of Sak. I am thankful to have considered him a friend. He was wonderful to work with...and alway's made me laugh. All of us at Boeing will miss him more than words can describe.

Sak was my dear friend. For those of us able to attend his funeral, it was a beautiful service; he was honored by friends and family. Though rain was in the forecast, the sun came out and warmed us on the hillside of St. Michael's Cemetary. He is still with us
